What can I do in this partner portal?

This portal is for approved Happy Travel SIM wholesale partners. You can check wholesale plans, top up your dealer balance, recharge physical SIM cards, order eSIM QR codes, check data balance, and view your own records.

What does Physical SIM Recharge mean?

Physical SIM Recharge means adding a new data plan to a SIM card the customer already has. It is not buying a new card.

  1. Choose Physical SIM.
  2. Select country, data plan, and days.
  3. Enter or scan the card ICCID.
  4. Confirm recharge.
  5. The plan is added directly to that card.
Should guides bring blank recharge SIM cards overseas?

Yes. We recommend guides bring a few blank recharge SIM cards when leading a group overseas. If a customer's phone/card has an issue, you can replace it quickly. If a walk-in customer wants to buy immediately, you can sell a card on the spot and recharge the right plan in the portal.

Tip: keep several cards in your bag before departure, especially for popular destinations and group tours.
What is eSIM?

eSIM is an electronic SIM, so there is no plastic card and no postage. The customer receives a QR code by email, then scans it on a phone that supports eSIM. After installation, the phone will show a new mobile data plan.

Important: eSIM is delivered quickly by email, but one eSIM is for one phone/device only. Confirm the phone supports eSIM before ordering.
How do I know if a customer's phone supports eSIM?

Before ordering eSIM, ask the customer to dial *#06# on the phone they will use overseas. If the screen shows EID, the phone normally supports eSIM. If it only shows IMEI and no EID, choose a physical SIM instead.

What is EID? EID is the eSIM chip ID inside the phone. It is different from IMEI. IMEI identifies the phone; EID shows the phone has eSIM capability.

Ask for a screenshot of the *#06# screen. Confirm there is EID, not only IMEI, before ordering eSIM.
How do I order an eSIM?
  1. First confirm the customer's phone supports eSIM by checking EID.
  2. Choose eSIM in the catalog.
  3. Select country, plan, days, and quantity.
  4. Enter the customer's delivery email carefully.
  5. Confirm the email on the next page.
  6. The eSIM QR will be sent from [email protected] to the customer. A copy is also sent to the guide's registered email for records.
A wrong email cannot be refunded after the eSIM is issued. Always check the email before confirming.
How should customers install eSIM?

Install eSIM under strong WiFi, preferably before departure or one day before travel.

  1. Open the QR email on another device, or print it.
  2. Many phones can install directly by opening the Camera app and scanning the QR.
  3. If Camera does not trigger setup: Settings → Mobile Data / Cellular → Add eSIM.
  4. Follow the phone instructions until installation finishes.
  5. On arrival, select this eSIM for mobile data and turn on Data Roaming.
Install first under WiFi; use it only after arrival by selecting the eSIM for data and turning on roaming.
How do I check a customer's data balance on the website?
  1. Log in to the partner portal.
  2. Open Check Data Balance.
  3. Enter or scan the customer's ICCID.
  4. The page shows plan, used data, remaining data, and status when the supplier provides it.
Supplier usage queries are limited. Do not keep refreshing the same card repeatedly.
When can I top up extra data for a customer's card?

Only eligible Total GB / fixed-data physical SIM plans can show a data top-up option. eSIM and Daily plans do not support data top-up in the portal; the customer should buy a new plan/eSIM instead.

The system only offers top-up when the card is near the limit: currently used ≥80% or remaining data ≤1GB. If the customer's data is still enough, the top-up entry may not appear.

How do I explain Daily, Total GB, and Unlimited plans to customers?
  • Daily Plan: a fresh allowance every day, such as 1GB/day. Good for customers who want controlled daily usage.
  • Total GB Plan: one total data bucket for the whole trip, such as 15GB for 7 days. Good for customers who may use more on some days and less on others.
  • Unlimited: no fixed total GB, usually with a speed policy such as 10Mbps or fair-use rules. Good for normal browsing, maps, WhatsApp, and social apps.
Important: Unlimited plans do not support hotspot/tethering. Tell customers to use it on their own phone only.
Why must eSIM be installed under strong WiFi?

During installation, the phone needs internet to download the eSIM profile. If WiFi is weak or disconnects, installation may fail or get stuck.

Best practice: install at home, hotel, or airport WiFi before the customer needs to use it. Do not install while moving or under poor signal.
Can the same eSIM QR be scanned again?

Usually no. Most eSIM QR codes can only be installed successfully once, and one eSIM can be used on one phone/device only. Ask the customer to confirm the correct phone before scanning. Do not delete the eSIM after installation unless support asks them to.

When does plan validity start?

For most travel SIM/eSIM plans, the validity starts when the customer arrives at the destination, connects to the local network, and turns on data roaming. Installing eSIM before departure usually does not start the days by itself.

What if the customer cannot use data after arrival?
  1. Turn on Mobile Data / Cellular Data.
  2. Select the correct SIM/eSIM for mobile data.
  3. Turn on Data Roaming.
  4. Restart the phone or toggle airplane mode once.
  5. Check APN or manually select network if needed.
  6. Last step: Reset Network Settings only, then restart and try again. This is not factory reset and does not erase photos/apps.

If it still fails, send us the ICCID, phone model, country/city, and screenshots.

What is dealer balance?

Dealer balance is your prepaid wholesale credit. Physical SIM recharge, eSIM order, and blank card order will deduct from this balance. If the balance is not enough, top up first.

Can guides refer other partners?

Yes. Use your referral QR or invite link in the Refer & Earn page. When your referral tops up, both sides can receive dealer credit according to the rules shown there.
